AUDUBON SUMMER CAMP

Audubon Nature Camps provide kids with a better understanding and awareness of the natural world through hands-on, environmental education. Presented with opportunities for leadership and growth, kids discover nature with caring, competent role models
who guide them through developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences.

Join the fun and get the kids outdoors this summer!

Junior Counselor Openings
We are now accepting applications for Junior Counselors and Counselors in Training positions for Audubon Summer Camps.

Junior counselors must be 16 years or older, experienced in working with children, at camps or in an outdoor setting. A love of nature and science is important. Junior Counselors are paid a small stipend. Junior Counselors must attend training on June 7, 2008.

Counselors in Training must be 13 years or older with some experience working with younger children and must have a love of nature and the outdoors. Counselors in Training are volunteer positions.

Camp Scholarships Available:
Audubon Society of Rhode Island provides financial assistance to parents and guardians with special circumstances to help send their child to camp. If you are interests in financial assistance, please contact us in writing explaining your circumstances and why an Audubon Camp would be beneficial to your child. We also ask that you submit a monetary contribution that you feel you can afford. We do have a few full scholarships for special circumstances. There is a limited amount of funding for financial assistance and these are awarded based on need and order received. Parents or guardians are responsible for transporting the child to and from camp each day.
